PROGRAMME
THURSDAY 27 MARCH – OVIEDO
- 09:30h – Departure by bus from the NH hotel to Oviedo.
- Panoramic tour of Oviedo by bus from which you will see points of interest such as:
- Campoamor Theatre, home of the Princess of Asturias Awards.
- San Francisco Park
- Woody Allen Statue
- Calatrava Conference and Exhibition Hall
- Ascent of Monte Naranco.
You will leave the bus to walk about 600 metres up the hill, so comfortable shoes are recommended. External visit to the pre-Romanesque monuments from the 9th century: Santa María del Naranco and San Miguel de Lillo. World Heritage Site.
- Walking tour of the old town, including a visit to the Cathedral of El Salvador (Relics of the Holy Land).
- 14:30 h-15:00 h – Lunch at La Pumarada Restaurant.
- 18:00 h – Return to the NH hotel in Gijón.
FRIDAY 28 – GIJÓN
- 10:00 h – Departure by bus from the NH hotel.
- Panoramic tour of Gijón visiting points of interest such as:
- Visit to La Laboral, City of Culture.
- Visit to the viewpoint of La Providencia.
- Visit to the old town, fishermen’s quarter, old marina, pleasure harbour.
- 14:30 h– Return to the Palacio de Congresos for the farewell lunch of the congress.
